With over 28 years of experience in graphic design, Martin has built a diverse career, working with a wide range of clients across multiple industries. His journey has seen him progress from graphic designer to art director, consistently delivering exceptional results.
For 15 years, Martin served as Senior 3D/2D Animation Designer and Art Director at the BBC, where he created globally recognised TV graphics. His outstanding contributions earned him numerous accolades, including the International Interactive Emmy Award for BBCi’s Best Interactive Television Service, a BAFTA as part of the BBC team, two PromaxBDA Global Entertainment Marketing Awards, and a Cannes Lions Silver for BBC’s creative team.
Martin is known for crafting iconic title sequences for high-profile programmes such as BBC Top Gear and BBC News, as well as playing a pivotal role in branding and graphic content for BBC channels.
As a User Experience Designer, Martin also contributed significantly to the prototyping and user testing of iPlayer, enhancing its branding and functionality.
His work has been showcased in prestigious publications like Computer Arts and 3D World, and he has shared his expertise as a speaker at industry conferences.
With a wealth of experience spanning advertising agencies, production houses, and creative studios, Martin has developed a comprehensive understanding of the creative production process and the needs of audiences.
