Martin Fausek has been a key figure at the BBC for 15 years, contributing his exceptional skills to some of the network’s most iconic title sequences.

Among his notable projects, Martin played a significant role in the BBC News titles, originally drafted by the legendary Martin Lambie-Nairn. Tasked with bringing the up to date vision, Martin collaborated closely with fellow 3D designer Joanne McDonald to recreate the news titles’ sting.

About Martin Fausek

With over 28 years of experience in graphic design, Martin has taken on diverse roles, working with a broad spectrum of clients.
His career trajectory has seen him evolve from a graphic designer to an art director.

For 15 years, Martin worked as a Senior 3D/2D Animation Designer and Art Director at the BBC, where he created internationally recognized TV graphics.
His outstanding work has earned numerous awards, including the International Interactive Emmy Award for BBCi's Best Interactive Television Service,
part of the BBC team BAFTA award and 2x PromaxBDA Awards (Global Entertainment Marketing Awards)and a Team for the BBC the Cannes Lions (Silver)

Martin has crafted a wide variety of title sequences for renowned programs like BBC Top Gear and BBC News.
He has also been instrumental in branding BBC channels and their graphic content.
As a User Experience Designer, Martin played a key role in the prototyping and user testing of iPlayer, contributing significantly to its branding.
His work has been featured in leading publications such as Computer Arts and 3D World. Martin has also shared his expertise at various conferences.
